Hello, you have to be sensible when you are trying to loose weight. Increase your exercise gradually and never reduce your calorie intake too much and never reduce calorie intake below 1500 kcal as it will lower your metabolic rate .Weight training along with cardio exercises, helps to build muscle and more muscle mass is more metabolic rate and more metabolic rate means you will burn more energy.
