Hello william, There is no need to worry if you irrigated your eye with cool water after the contact with the wax removal drops. If you have irritation in your eyes then take anti histamines or there is no need to worry. If you have any complications follow up with an ophthalmologist. Take care!

I did it also. Can't read the bottle when you have sore eyes and no glasses on. The name "MURINE" made me associate it with eye drops. The company should get their frikken name off the label in big block letters!

OMG my better half moved my eye drops and I was washing a stye the size of nebraska. Found Murine instead, stung like crazy in my eye, scared the crap out of me, thought it was wart medicine. Settled down now after long rinses. Ear drops did not help the stye one bit.

OMG! I did this to my eye this morning. I couldn't read the small print without my glasses and just assumed that the Murine was eye drops. I would strongly suggest that Murine use a different packaging for this. They look to similar. I immediately felt my eye burning and rushed to flush it out with cold water. I have been continuing to flush it out about every hour right now, because I still feel some burning and irritation.
