Answer by Dr Ashok Kumar  on Wed 11, Aug 2010 07:02am:

Hi. Robaxin does not have aspirin. It contains methocarbamol, which suppresses the actions of brain and related nervous system functions. It leads to sleepiness and relaxation of muscles. It is used for painful muscle or ligament related problem. You can take it even if you are allergic to aspirin as it is a drug from a different class. There should be no allergic manifestations if you are not allergic to the constituent of this medicine which is methocarbamol. Hope that helps. Take care.
