Hi, Blood in tools can happen due to various reasons like constipation, anal fissures, hemorrhoids, rectal polyps, carcinoma etc. It is always better to get evaluated for the cause not to miss anything serious like tumors. Are your bowels regular? Do you have constipation? Was the bleeding profuse or minimal? It is important to get a physical examination done by your doctor for confirmation of the cause for this. In the mean while you can increase liquid intake, fiber rich diet and avoid spicy food to cope with this situation. Best.
