I have been diagnosed with Acute Renal Failure. My creatinine level is 1.22, GFR is 50. According to this I am at stage 3. Is this cause for immediate concern since I do not see a Nephrologist until June 24th? I have had multiple blood tests that confirm the decline in my renal function, ultrasound which confirmed AKF, 24 hour creatinine clearance with no results yet. I have also had elevated Homocysteine which is now controlled with Deplin. I experience lower back pain on a daily basis with moderate discomfort. Occasional nausea, no other symptoms.
