I have been feeling like something is moving in my stomach for a couple of months. I have taken a pregnancy test and the results are negative. Am I pregnant or is something else wrong with me?

First of all, I have had the IUD, mirena, since June '07. I recently went to the doc because I was having pain in my lowr abdomen after sexual intercourse. I was given a vaginal ultrasound and they took cultures to check for pregnancy or CVC. The tests came back neg. for both, but the ER doc said the ultrasound showed the mirena had moved into my cervix. I was prescribed pain meds and told to see my OB on the following Monday. He said the mirena wasn't in my cervix and I wasn't pregnant. I am now taking meds for infection and pain meds, but I am still feeling movements in my stomach like a baby kicking. My husband has also felt it when he places his hands on my lower stomach. If I'm not pregnant, then what is wrong with me because it's driving me crazy?

And to answer your other question, no I do not have trouble passing stool or urine. The movements sometimes lasts a couple minutes or longer when lying down. It ranges from movements right above my vaginal region (lower stomach) to my sides of my stomach on occasion. It really feels the same way as when I was pregnant with my daughter. First it kinda felt like flutters, but then it progressed to me placing my hand on my stomach while lying down and feeling something kinda kick at me. I also feel movements in my stomach when I am sitting down, too. I know it cannot be psychological because my husband feels it, too, but with the tests being negative for pregnancy I really do not know what is causing it all these months.

The same exact thing with me too!!!!! kicks and flutters in my lower left abdomen and sometimes on the left side of my waist line. i have a mirena in too. My sis had the same thing and described it as feeling like there was a "litter of kittens" in her tummy that her husband also felt if he placed his hand on her abdomen. She was diagnosed with fibroids.
