Forehead rash of whitehead small pimples

Asked by louhyes (Female; 25; Beside a toxoplasmosis maybe 4 years ago nothing relevant ) on Tue 23, Feb 2010 02:33pm

Hi since 2 months now I am having a rash of pimples ( small whitehead ) on my forehead and around my chin and nose. I went to the doctor early in february he gave me a cream but I see no improvment, rash is expanding on my face. Since my vist to the dr I am using spectro jel to wash and the doctor cream is made of clindamycine phosphate and peroxyde de benzoyle. Before that I was using an anti-bacyeria soap + a cream made of acid benzoyle, acid salicilic, zinc, vitamin E, for years. I used to go for a facial clean up regularly. But I have stopped for now. I have a acne prone skin but everythig was ok for almost 2 years. I don't remember having change my face cream before the rash started. Peolple told to check my diet but I eat as usual. I have changed the cream for my body since 8 months now, but my body is fine and I am not using it for my face. I will get married in august and I wish to get ride of my pb before. I took an appointment at the dermatologist in march. In the meantine I don't know what to do to stop the rash from expanding more and more.

Hello, Acne formation is due to a blockage of oil underneath the skin and builds up with bacteria causing inflammation and develops into a pimple. Several factors are usually considered to cause acne such as diet, stress, genetic, dirt hormonal imbalances, cosmetics, work-related and drugs. You can prevent and treat acne by changing your lifestyle like eating proper diet, getting a good amount of sleep and drink at least eight glasses of water daily. You can also treat acne by cleaning your face regularly, using skincare products, apply antibacterial topical medications. With the help of the doctor, the treatment of oral antibiotics, contraceptive pills, retinoids, cortisone injections, chemical peels and laser treatment can be your choices. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
